Ripstop Nylon tent fabric silicone coated, undyed, 40den, 55g/sqm

Undyed and therefore more sustainable version of our tested and proven 40den silnylon classic. The base fabric and coating are identical to the article <a href='https://www.extremtextil.de/en/ripstop-nylon-tentfabric-silicone-coated-40den-55g-sqm.html' title='https://www.extremtextil.de/en/ripstop-nylon-tentfabric-silicone-coated-40den-55g-sqm.html'>Ripstop Nylon tentfabric silicone coated, 40den, 55g/sqm</a>. However, the dyeing process during production is dispensed with in this version. This significantly reduces the consumption of resources such as energy, water, chemicals and dyes. We therefore offer a more sustainable option for outdoor applications with this undyed version. The material and properties are the same as the original item: The lightweight 40den ripstop nylon is coated with silicone on both sides. Thanks to the coating, the Silnylon is reliably waterproof and tear-resistant. The silicone coating also increases UV stability. This makes it perfect for ultralight tents, tarps, ponchos and more. Please note that the fabric stretches when wet and should be able to be retensioned.

As there is no dyeing process, there is no need to bleach the base fabric, which can lead to slight colour changes and small stains. The water column may be reduced in these areas. If necessary, these areas can be sealed with <a href='https://www.extremtextil.de/en/gear-aid-seam-grip-sil-sealant-28ml.html' title='https://www.extremtextil.de/en/gear-aid-seam-grip-sil-sealant-28ml.html'>Gear Aid Seam Grip + SIL, Sealant, 28ml</a>.
