Original Dacron for our kite-, sail- and windsurf-costumers. The woven Dacron surf polyester sailcloth 175 LL MT by Dimension Polyant is made out of tightly woven polyester yarns and is treated by a melamine based impregnation. This gives the fabric the typical properties for Dacron: Very high tear-resistance and abrasion resistance Very good bias stability outstanding durability long working life very good UV-stability no waterabsorption low stretch, even when wet fast drying stiff touch
The LL-Version of this fabric has lengthwise marker-yarns in a distance of 17mm for easier layout when sewing sails and kites. The marks also give the fabric an unique optical touch.
The construction and finish gives the fabric the Dacron-typical stiff touch and makes the fabric windproof, but not waterproof.
