TPU-film, 0,15mm thick, weldable, 175g/sqm
High-quality, airtight and waterproof TPU film with a material thickness of only 0,15 mm. Despite its thinness, it is robust, durable, UV-stable and scratch-resistant. The film is pleasantly soft, flexible and slightly elastic to the touch, with a semi-transparent appearance. The surface is slightly slip-resistant. As is usual with TPU films, processing is straightforward: the film can be welded or sewn using either an iron or a machine.
Made from TPU ether, the film is hydrolysis-resistant and therefore ideal for applications in permanently damp environments, such as inflatable seat cushions, sleeping mats, dry bags, etc. It can also be used as a bladder for kites and wings.
Both our seamtape for coated fabrics and strips of the film itself can be used to seal seams.

TPU info
TPU – short for "thermoplastic polyurethane" - can be formed and bonded by heat. The TPU film is reliably waterproof and airtight and can be joined with an iron or by high-frequency welding.
Hydrolysis-resistance
This is a hydrolysis-resistant TPU-ether film. So the film is suitable for prolongued use in humid conditions (i.e. objects that are inflated by human breath).
