The side panels are made of two pieces (see horizontal seam
near apex) to maximise the efficient use of the silnylon material.
The rear panel is made of one piece of silnylon.
The front (zipped porch) panel is made from two pieces of
Each of the four main (corner) seams is 1.91m long and uses
a catenary cut design with a 40mm deflection at the centre of the seam.
There are 8 guy points in total. I use 4 Y-aluminium
pegs for the corners and 4 Shepherd's Hook titanium pegs for the front, back and side guys.
When minimal wind is expected the tarp tent can be pitched
nicely using just 4 Y-pegs.
