Tear-resistant and lightweight ripstop-nylon (also known as silnylon) for tents, tarps, ponchos, bivys, waterproof bags, lightweight backpacks and ultralight rainprotection. With it's 65g/sqm its far more tear-resistant than the 50g-Silnylon. All in all three layers of Silicon coating on both sides make the fabric waterproof, extremely tear-resistant and waterrepellant. Ideal for lightweight tents, tarps, lightweight waterproof bags ....  This fabric will stretch when wet.

Hydrostatic head after abrasion: New 4000mm, after abrasion 2000 mm

Width: ca. 150 cm

This fabric is 2nd choice because the hydrostatic head doesn't meet the requirements for heavy expidition use (2500mm after abrasion). For all other projects it's still first choice.
