Scissors

Most of our materials are far easier to work with if you have the appropriate cutting-tools. We offer various high quality tools for different applications.

Robuso Solingen makes and distributes top-quality industry-standard shears for technical textiles for over 30 years. Their C 60 high carbon steel give the scissors above average cutting efficiency. Highest standars in design, production and material make it a pleasure to work with their shears.

Rust:
The C60 steel is not rustproof, so the shears should be stored with care at a dry place and cleared of sweat as soon as possible.

Microshearing:
Microshearing prevents slippage of the cutting good and is essential for comfortable cutting of all kinds of technical textiles like nylon, polyester, kevlar, aramide, dyneema etc.

Cutting efficiency:
All Robuso shear are suitable for glass fiber, carbon fiber, Aramide or Dyneema. But cutting of various materials with one scissor will dull the blades very fast. Especially glas dulls scissors very fast.

Care and maintenance:
Sometimes a not perfect cutting shear doesn't need regrinding. Try cleaning and oiling onto it first.

Regrinding:
Robuso offer a regrinding-service for all scissors. The shear can be returned directly or by us. For more details please ask or contact Robuso (www.robuso.de).
