Thin polyester foil, that has a layer of aluminium on one side. The foil is originally used for furnace protection suits. It reflects heat and cold, but it still melts in direct contact to a heat source. The polyester-foil protects the aluminium from one side, the aluminium side can be protected by mechanical stress.
